EHP develops, produces and qualifies thermal & mechanical components/systems for spacecraft based on two-phase heat transfer technology (such as heat pipes, loop heat pipes, thermal bus subsystems) and deployable equipment (such as deployable radiators and pointing systems).

EHP has full in-house capacities (design, simulation, manufacturing, assembly, inspection, tests) with a staff of more than 100 highly skilled people. EHP is EN9100 certified since 2016 and hold more than 90 IP & patents. 

Based in Nivelles (Belgium), close to Brussels, EHP was created in 2001 as a spin-off of SABCA and the Microgravity Research Center of ULB (Université Libre de Bruxelles). Thanks to this background, EHP has more than 40 years of heritage and know-how about its products. Since 2017, EHP is an Airbus Defence and Space subsidiary. Since mid-2022, EHP moves into a brand-new 10.000m² factory (incl. 2.000m² Clean Room) that hosts all EHP operations. 

EHP products are embedded in numerous satellites across the world and EHP delivers to its customers in Europe, North America and East Asia. Over the years, EHP has acquired a large space heritage: EHP products have more than 100.000.000 spaceflight hours heritage with no in-orbit failure.
